Description

Embark on an authentic Canarian experience and discover the excitement of Vela Latina from a privileged viewpoint at sea. Aboard the City Sightseeing vessel, you will sail through the bay of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria while observing Canarian Lateen Sailing boats during training sessions or competitions. During the trip, one of the participating boats will approach our vessel, allowing a crew member to come aboard and explain the history, rules and unique characteristics of this traditional sport. Enjoy a memorable experience combining the sea, local culture and Canarian traditions.

Before you Go

* Arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. * Activity subject to favourable weather and sea conditions. * Sun protection and comfortable clothing are recommended. * Residents must present valid proof of residency. Schedule * Recommended boarding: 12:45 pm * Departure: 1:00 pm * Meeting with the Vela Latina boat: between 1:15 pm and 1:30 pm * On-board explanation: approximately 15-20 minutes * Estimated return: 2:00 pm * Boarding Point Wilson Pier, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria *Duration Approximately 1 hour. * Schedules and operating conditions may be modified due to weather conditions, safety requirements, or operational reasons. * Resident Fares Resident fares are available only upon presentation of valid proof of residency at boarding.
