In 1999 Álvaro Domecq Romero acquired the old Bodegas de Pilar Aranda and began to sell its wines under the trade name: ‘Álvaro Domecq S.L.’. From the beginning, the company designs a strategy aimed at the production and marketing of products sealed by quality, differentiating itself from the wide existing offer, acquiring the most excellent musts that our experts choose from the best wineries in the Jerez area. This must wine is aged in American oak casks using the traditional system of soleras and criaderas in a totally artisanal way.
